Families who have a child or adult family member diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders face immense emotional and financial challenges. HMEA’s Autism Resource Central (HARC) is there to help families navigate the myriad treatments, providers, therapies and services that may help across the lifespan and spectrum.
HARC brings together parents, educators, service providers, and medical professionals to reach one goal: EMPOWER those on the autism spectrum and their families so they are valued for their talents, gifts and contributions.
HARC provides information, referrals and educational resources. Support groups, recreational activities, advocacy and networking opportunities round out HARC’s services.
Membership is free, and all events and programs cost little to attend. In fact, all fees collected go right back into the organization so that HARC can support every family in need.
