HMEA’s Day Habilitation Program promotes independent living, good health and a satisfying life. The program fosters community integration, relationship building, social and communication skills, and daily living and recreational activities.
On-site nursing, speech/language therapy, physical and occupational therapy, and clinical supports are available through the program. We help participants identify their skills and interests and assist them in achieving their personal goals and becoming more active in community activities.
We offer services to people who are at least 22 years old* who have been diagnosed with autism and/or other developmental disabilities. Participants must live within commuting distance of Millbury, Plainville, Franklin, or Sterling in Massachusetts. They also must be eligible for Mass Health, but private payment arrangements are available.
*Participants between 18-21 are considered if school funding is approved.
PROGRAM HOURS:
Millbury and Sterling: 8:30 am – 2:30 pm
Franklin and Plainville: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
