HMEA provides comprehensive residential service options that enable adults with autism and developmental disabilities to live in — and become — part of their communities. The adults can choose where they want to live — and with whom they’d like to live.
HMEA balances a social life, skill acquisition and physical health. HMEA also supports adults with complex medical, physical and behavioral challenges.
Each person is assessed by a team of licensed professionals including RNs and BCBAs to determine the most effective and coordinated system of care.
Some adults may prefer the atmosphere of a shared living arrangement in a private home. Others may decide that there is a better fit through HMEA Community Residential Home or HMEA’s Adult Family Care.
